BDM(BullDawgMfg) is proud to introduce our "Highlander Edition" hard tops which cater to the "Overlanding Community" where the journey is more important than the destination and also those that want to use their Jeeps in the most rigorous or adventurous of ways. Engineered with a "Dynamic(Driving) Load Rating" of 600lbs and a "Static(Sitting Still)Load Rating"of 800lbs, the "Highlander" tops are constructed for the most demanding of conditions. These hardtops are manufactured utilizing various advanced composite core materials and techniques which result in extremely high "Load Bearing" capabilities. The various composite "Sandwich Core materials" such as 1708 Bi-Axil, Klegecel and Coremat are strategically placed within the hardtop to create a series of I-Beam's all while keeping the overall weight to a minimum This corresponds to a strength to weight ratio that is unparalleled in the industry. Up until now, the only option one had to handle very heavy loads was to use a rack system that required either drilling through your hard top and fastening it to the roll-bar or attaching it to the Jeep body itself. Not only are these methods burdensome but they are also expensive and are prone to leaking. The Highlander Top provides a sleek looking, quick and convenient alternative to the above(about a 30 minute installation of the hardtop) and overall, costs much less.
